I'm home, but don't feel like writing.

My last pictures from India.

Do yourself a favor and go there, even if it's only for a week. Switch up your perspective on a lot of shit.

Take care,

anthony
Taj Mahal... shit's huge... look at the people on the deck for perspective. Now that's a monument to your girl done right.

I'm over it. Shit happens i guess.

I've been shooting a medium format camera as well as my digital camera for this entire trip. Today i realized that one of the settings on my medium format camera was wrong, meaning all my shit is botched. Really really sucks as my favorite moments were captured on that camera not my digital one. Ah well, just photos in the big scheme of things...

Don't feel like writing. Enjoy the photo's.

When i took this photo i though it sucked. I haven't been into shooting much over the past couple days, India is so full on that the last thing on my mind is shooting photos. The constant barrage of smell, busy, rich, poor, struggle, and happiness is quite overwhelming. But, actually looking at this shot, it isn't special nor is it pretty, but it really is india. Not some postcard image of what India is supposed to be, this is as close to the real thing as I could depict. Dude on the side with nothing, women in saris, guy with collar shirt and dress pants, dirt everywhere, fresh fruit beside all that dirt on the road, old trucks, and rickshaws all mixed into one.

Some of my highlights, if I don't have pictures, the least i can do is describe them, are eating food with my hands, getting in a taxi crash and watching my driver get the shit slapped out of him, and going to a temple and having an experience reminiscent of the mosh pit at my first slayer show. People were seriously psychotic, pushing, jumping shoving, everything short of all out punches were commonplace to see, let me emphasis see, a statue which they pray to. A statue. Slayer mosh pit. A place to pray. It was an intense scene. They also sacrifice goats to honor this god too, so outside of the mosh pit area, people chop the heads off of goats in this particular god's honor. Full bore, welcome to India. Oh, and you're not allowed to wear shoes here either, goat blood, garbage, water, everything all mixed up. Now welcome to india. haha. it's great here.

And those of you in Whistler right now... i'm jealous.
