i rip a lot of shit out of newspapers. I find it interesting, stuff that I'm inspired by or makes me wonder/daydream etc. I end up with newspaper/magazine tear outs all over my house. It’s great.

A long time ago I was asked to do a cover of Charter Magazine (it's a ski magazine from NZ). Those guys are super cool so I said yes without even thinking. Fast forward seven months, i get an email. "Can you have that cover done by July 1st". Me. 'Shit'.
I had totally forgot. Another thing to do. I didn't really want to do a painting, i kinda wanted to create something different. So I came up with the idea of doing a sculpture. Call me crazy, but it seemed fun. I asked all of my friends, they all thought I was off my rocker. Except for one. In fact, she wants to help. And in fact, she's done sculpture before. Without much success...
This is a shot of her last set up doing cement sculpture. I think we're in trouble. We're in for some fun at least. I'll show you what comes out... good or bad…
